Courtni Jeffers, MS, MPH, Ed.D.(c)

I have an Master of 科学 in Narrative Medicine from Columbia University, an Master of Public 健康 from The George Washington University. I am currently a doctoral candidate in the UNE Ed.D. 程序. In addition to teaching in the Graduate Programs of Public 健康 at UNE I teach in the Narrative Medicine Program at Columbia University as well as facilitating narrative medicine workshops for healthcare systems and clinics in Maine. 

My passions lie at the intersection of population health and individual well-being and my collaboration and work aims to reflect the ethical responsibility to both the content and the context of individual and community stories. My expertise lies in social marketing, 程序 planning and evaluation, narrative competency, health literacy, and equipping others to give and receive accounts of self in order to further individual and community healing through narrative and cultural humility.
